Avodah Ministries. believes that we exist as a company to pray for, awaken, disciple, and serve people everywhere and to help foster a Messianic Hebrew consciousness.  As a Messianic Hebrew ministry, we are committed to Truth that is found in Yeshua HaMashiach and his teachings. We do not follow a western interpretation of scriptures but we believe in using the truth of the word of Elohim for the liberation and the deliverance of the Hebrew people and the urban community.  We accept Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) as the Messiah and yet follow a Hebrew lifestyle.  We believe that Yeshua HaMashiach was a black revolutionary as were all of the original Hebrew people and patriarch of the faith. We exist to inspire black people to be both unapologetically Messianic Hebrews, and for others to be followers of  Yeshua HaMashiach at the same time.”

WE ARE MESSIANIC HEBREWS

We believe that the Children of Elohim are a multi-colored coat! However, based on historical facts and scripture, the True Hebrews  are Shemites composed of the  Fellahim/Palestinians which are  were lighter skinned agriculture people who remained in the land of Israel and the royal merchant class are of the Dark skinned Negro who were nomads that were exiled from the Kingdom of Judah- and became African Shemites.  These people were taken away in slave ships from Africa in particular Guinea in the 17th & 18th Century. Which is the home of Igbo People which are descendants of the Tribe of Judah.  Therefore, Black people whose ancestors were slaves from the Middle Passage are the descendants of the Royal Tribe of Judah and, in fact, are the Orginal Hebrew People.

GPUNLTD SPIRITUAL BELIEFS

ABRAHAMIC COVENANT – We believe that God made an everlasting and irrevocable covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Gen 12:1-3; 15:9-21; 17:1-8). It includes the unconditional election of Israel or the Hebrew people as God’s chosen people, the gift of the land of Israel, and the promise of the Messiah through whom all the families of the earth will be blessed (2 Sam 7:6-16; Jer 31:23-40; Romans 9-11; Gal 3:6-4:7).

BAPTISM – We believe Baptism is done by immersion of people who are old enough to understand, accept and confess Yeshua as Messiah, as Savior.

BIBLE – We believe in the inspired Word of Elohim. (Ps 107:11; 119:160: Mark 7:6-13; John 10:35; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Heb 1:1-3; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

DIETARY LAWS – We believe in following the kosher dietary laws established in the book of Leviticus for the purpose of health and longevity.

HOLY SPIRIT/GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT – We believe in the full deity and personality of the Holy Spirit-Ruach HaKodesh (Matt 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; Eph 4:30). Ruach HaKodesh bears witness to Yeshua through the Word of God (John 14:25-27; 16;13; 1 Cor 2:10-11). Ruach HaKodesh convicts (John 16:7-11), regenerates individuals (John 3:3-5) and baptizes them into the Body of Messiah (1 Cor 6:11; 12:13; Titus 3:5). Ruach HaKodesh indwells, fills, guides, helps, gifts, and produces in believers the fruit of the Spirit (John 14:15-21; 1 Cor 6:19; Eph 1:13-14; 5:18). We believe in the gifts of the spirit and the practice of speaking in tongues.

YESHUA HAMASHIACH/JESUS CHRIST – We believe in referring to Jesus by his Hebrew name, Yeshua. We accept him as the Messiah promised in the Old Testament, and believe he died an atoning death for the sins of humanity, was raised from the dead and is still alive today.We believe in His full deity (Is 9:6-7; John 10:30; 20:28; Acts 2:14-36; Col. 2:9); His virgin conception (Isa 7:14; Matt 1:18:25; Lk 1:34-35); His full humanity (Heb 2:14-18; 4:15); and His sinless life (2 Cor 5:21; Heb 4:15; 7:26; 1 Pet 2:22 [Isa 53:9]).

TRINITY – We believe in the one infinite and perfect  Triune God: Father (HaShem); Son (HaMeshiach); and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). (Deut 6:4; Lev 19:2; Deut 33:27; Isa 6:1-3; 40:28-31; Acts 17:24; Ps. 90:2). Each possesses the characteristics of personality as well as the nature and perfections of deity. (Matt 28:19-20; John 1:1-3; 15:26; 16:12-15; Col. 1:15-20; Heb 1:1-4).

SALVATION- We believe that salvation for both the Hebrews and Gentiles is available only through Yeshua HaMashiach and His finished work (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). This salvation is a gift from God, received through faith alone and not by works (John 10:28-30; Rom 8:28-30; Eph 2:8-9; Rom 3:21-4:25; Heb 13:5). True believers in Messiah are sealed by the Holy Spirit for the day of redemption (Eph 1:13-14).

UNITY OF THE BODY– We believe that the Church is comprised of both Hebrews (Judahite or Judean) and Gentiles who have accepted Yeshua as the promised deliverer (Eph 2:11-3:6). Gentiles who have come to faith in Yeshua are fellow heirs in the kingdom of God with Hebrew believers (Eph 3:6; Gal 3:1-4:6). This belief in the universal body of Messiah encourages both Hebrews (Judahite or Judean) and Gentiles to live together in unity (Acts 14:23; 15:24-28; Rom 14:1-15:21; Col. 2:16-23; Heb 10:24-25).

OUR FUTURE– We believe that Messiah will return to earth to reign from Israel over the millennial kingdom (Dan 9:27; Matt 24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-27; 1 Thess 1:10; 2 Thess 2; Rev 20:1-6). When all His enemies are put under his feet, He will hand over the Kingdom to the Father (1 Cor 15:20-28). We believe that the final state of those who have trusted in Messiah will be eternal bliss in the presence of The Most High. We believe that the eternal state of those who have not trusted in Messiah will be one of conscious suffering in hell. (Matt 25:46; John 3:36; 2 Thess 1:8-9; 2 Pet 3:13; Rev 14:11; 20:11-15; 21:1-22:6).
